A Life on Facebook and Yahoo’s Fall from Grace is Examined

In the course of my day at StepForth I come across a ton of interesting stuff which I Tweet, Facebook, Stumble etc. on a regular basis. That said, the following are two pieces of media which I simply could not pass up sharing with you.

#1: Video: “A Life on Facebook”

This video was created by Maxime Léure and it is so brilliant I think it deserves Emmy consideration. What do you think?

#2: An Infographic on “The Brutal Decline of Yahoo”

The title image of an infographic called "The Brutal Decline of Yahoo"As a businessman this infographic makes me cringe but it is a worthwhile reminder of how even the mighty can fall. Yahoo has fallen on its face enough times its face is barely recognizable. See this timeline-based infographic for a great walkthrough.

A life on Facebook, brilliant yes, because it is an absolute depiction of what happens on FB every day! The infographic tale of the demise of Yahoo!, makes me cringe because Yahoo was part of the big three but if you pay attention to the trend, the signs were there a long time ago that Yahoo was on the decline.

Hey Nick, yeah, I have to agree Yahoo has been less than idyllic in terms of their business decisions… they really lost their grip on trends and ended up becoming far to reactive. Thanks for your comment!

Good luck acquiring people behind this one. Though you generate some VERY amazing points, youre going to need to do more than bring up a few things which may be different than what weve already listened to. What are trying to say here? What are you wanting us to consider? It seems such as you cant seriously get behind a distinctive thought. Anyway, thats just my estimation.
