There are many free and pay press release services that all offer the same features. There is no need to use more than one PAY press release service.

You can get onto the front page of PR Leap for $50 on most days. They offer Google News, Topix.net, Ask, and Moreover distribution. Yahoo and MSN too, but they tend to take a few days to pick up your news.

Russ, I'm an expert on the topic of press releases and your answer is right on the mark. The $80 service from PRWeb will do the job nicely.

I've spoken with many PR people who are very happy with PRWeb's lowest level.

I see no reason to use more than one good press release distribution service either.

Just don't waste your time with the free "distribution" services. They really don't distribute anything. Your release is simply parked at their website.

It does not hurt to use more than one, and depending on the purpose for the release, you may want to contact local media.
