| As
some of you may have noticed, Google has made some fairly significant
changes to it's ranking algorithm. This has been in response to
several blatant and well
publicized manipulations of its results. As a result of the
changes, Google's search engine results have been less than reliable
as of late, we expect to see some more algorithm changes in the
near future while Google stabilizes.

you think. do you think it could be a Google contender in the

Overture
has proven that online advertising is still a strong industry by
noting a third-quarter revenue surge of 50%. With paid listings
growing in popularity so consistently, you can bet that Overture's
rates will be rising soon. StepForth is a firm believer that paid
placement promotions have a place in any online promotion, however,
news of rising costs in the near future only strengthen our belief
that search engine placement on the free search engines will remain
important.
Expect
a fair amount of change at MSN.com for the forseeable future. MSN
has hired big guns and is planning on targeting
AOL subscribers through its latest version of web software -
MSN 8.0.
